How are you duuuuingggg?🕺🏽🕺🏽. I’m in such a jolly mood this morning, and I can’t even explain why. That doesn’t mean I don't have things to rant about tho😂.
But first of uxt, how’s the flood situation at your side? I saw some pictures and I’m like mad oh. I heard it’s majorly them Lekki and the Island side though. So much for being a baddie😪. Wo, baddie go learn how to swim jare😂😂. Just a few days that I said lemme do quick in and out from Nigeria, flood don cover everywhere so? Hian!😂😂 Sorry is all I can say o.
Anywho, it’s been a really long and boring week, with one or twos happening, but I’m already missing my danfo guys fr😪. E for energy I swear😂. First off, they said we’re in the summer but the temperature is between 11-21°. Ah! Shebi I should have enjoyed the sun in Lagos. Now it’s cold o. Oh Chim🤧.
Also, I’ve never seen a set of people as slow as this. What are you? Toddlersss😭😭😭? Or maybe I’m just used to the Lagos hustle and bustle. At least, there’s always sumn going on. Here, they take their precious time with everythinggg. What is thissss😭? Try am for Lagos fess, dem no go tell you, before you sabi😂. Their sun rises at 4 am and they wake up by like 7 or 8. What’s that edakun? If the sun was rising by 4 in Lagos, swears, 3:30 am, road go don full.
I remember the first time I wanted to cross the road here. As usual in Lagos, what do we do? Look out for the cars and run across abi? Omo, I was already doing that o. That’s how these cars that were coming all stopped for me to cross. Oh! Ah! We don’t do that one in Lagos o😂😂. These cars looked out for me🥺😂. Lagos, you’ll look out for them o, make Okada man no deaf you🤲🏽😂.
Real experience, an okada man beat me on my back cos I didn’t look before I crossed, and he narrowly missed hitting me with his bike😭😂.
There’s a chinkulu issue tho. There’s this old couple that are always smoking on the parking lot, but the building specifically says in their rules that there is no smoking on the house properties. They’re even an old couple sef. Grandma and grandpa. Unfortunately, we are on the same floor. When they’re now going to smoke downstairs and we jam in the elevator, the dodoyo man will now put their cigar in his palm tightly. Shior😂. Im think say I neva sabi im face and acts. Couple goals oshi.And they always blast loud music. You hear it in the hallway from their apartment. It’s like the couple is not even old sef, but they areee😭. I just need small more evidence. Be disturbing the whole building because they want to flex 😒. Court la ti ma pade😗.
Omo, these white people and dogs are like 5&6. Everywhere, it’s a white person and their dogs. Haba! You literally can’t go 1 kilometer without seeing like 2 or 3 people with their dogs. Even in the stores and malls them deyyy😭. And you know I don’t fw dogs at all. No matter how cute or furry they are o. Naija dogs have given me trauma guy.
A couple days ago, a dog chased me. Ah! My inner Usain Bolt jade ni straighttttt. Guyy, I went on a walk with my brother. He now went forward, so it was me alone. That’s how this oyinbo was now walking her dog towards me. Ghen ghen. I was already shaking guy😭😂😂. I now told myself, ‘compose, compose.’ I sha started walking forward.
Omo, this dog no rate me o. It was on a leash and it started chasing me. Guy, composure flewww, Usain Bolt set in😭. When I tripped like this ehn, I rolled on the grass quick to get as far away from the dog as I could. Omo, adrenaline pro max o. When I now told mumsy, she said I should have stayed and let the dog bite me, so the oyinbo would pay. Ah. Haba😭😂😂.
It’s as if their dogs have a weird attraction to black people, cos why do these dogs always want to come close? I go just ship one or two go Calabar. They’ll finish up from there🤭😂
While it’s mostly craze here, there’s one or two that makes brain. Like, I saw a loom band kit yesterday and we got it ofc. I’ve been so excited since ehn. That shit was gold in my childhood man🥹.
The time difference here is driving me crayyzyyy. Before I sleep , person don baff, enter danfo for Lagos. By the time I wake, person go soon finish work for im office😪. Hian. E con be like say I dey use person 9-5 sleep. Tf😂?!
It’s almost 8 pm at home and we’re just at midday here. Omo😪. It’s this fasting thing that’s scaring me pass sef. What do you mean the sun rises at 4 and doesn’t set till 9:30? As how nauuu😭😭. And I’m even fasting today sef💔. Put me in your prayers o, and stay tuned to see if I finished the fast, or the fast finished me🤧.
